Mina is an ever optimistic Sylveon that loves to enjoy the good things in life and is easy to get along with. She has a natural charisma, most likely due to her knowledge and demeanour, that seems to attract others to her. Though she is intelligent, she often remains low-key about it and about her grades, only showing her true knowledge when it is needed. She loves a good adventure every now and then, and will often try to explore and get to know as much as she can about her surroundings.

Mina tends to doubt, however, just how smart and pretty she is, and when she is complimented in either category, she becomes easily flustered, attempting to hide her face underneath her hair, her feelers, or both. Because of her adventurous spirit, the Sylveon has gotten into trouble every now and then, getting herself into various situations more than once because of what she thinks she knows about a certain situation vs. what she really does know. She also tends to act without thinking when cornered into these situations, and can be violently-strong when severely provoked(she knows Karate and was trained to only fight for defense, but even then it depends on the situation).

Though book-smart and pretty street-smart, occasionally Mina may ask a "dumb question" every now and then, showing her naivety, and therefore her youth. Mina loves to dress in the latest styles, unintentionally showing off her obvious beauty.

» History: The lives of Jacoby and Kina Sparks had been pretty simple at first. Both had hailed from the bustling city of Lumiere, met in high school, went to college together, married, became scientists in the field of Astronomy - namely Astrophysics – and decided to settle down thereafter in the small, Unovan seaside town of Undella. Then came the birth of their only daughter – Mina. Inheriting her mother's shiny traits, the little eevee was the pride and joy of the Sparks family. Mina was treasured and looked after by her parents, and though they were both busy, Kina had taken the time out of work and out of her schedule to guide their daughter, who showed a keen interest in the same things her parents did. Spending time with her mother, Mina would often be taken out each summer evening into the warm sea air and shores of Undella; the little eevee would often spend hours staring up, her purplish blue eyes gleaming with interest as bright as the stars in the heavens were.

As the eevee grew up and her parents became more involved in their research, the girl began to spend more time with her Aunt, a Gardevoir named Luna, as well as several others from both their family and Luna's circle of friends. Spending her days between her own personal study of astronomy, school and family, Mina soon began to pick up several habits from them, including a love for adventure, romance, and basically anything to do with magical girls in sailor suit costumes that fought evil and saved the day. From the young age of 10 – and with the help of others around her – the girl immediately began to look into ways she too could become a “sailor scout”, and began to busy herself in learning moves like Swift and how to both fight and defend herself skillfully. As time grew on, however, Mina began to have doubts. All those around her – up to and including her own Aunt, who had been only 4 years older than her – had all evolved at least once.

The answer to the constant question she had been asking of when she'd finally evolve came later in the future. Somewhere in Kalos, her parents' original home region, a small town by the name of Espoir had come into existence. Luna and her closest friends had moved their, and soon after the move(and with a little begging of course), the now adolescent Eevee moved into town, continuing her studies in a nearby school while spending time with her relatives. Then came that one day in September. Luna had been dating her childhood friend for what was six months and a couple days short of the seventh when he had gotten down on one knee and proposed. The news had shocked and thrilled both the Gardevoir and the Eevee – so much so that the eevee had started to glow. A couple of moments later when the light had faded, there stood the now Sylveon belle, stunned yet elated at the news, and even more so, her evolution.

Nearing the end of her junior year in high school, her previous school had shut down, causing her to become displaced and wondering where to go. It was then that both her parents and her aunt and uncle had found a boarding school not too far off, and sent Mina to continue her studies there. The young Sylveon soon found herself amongst the halls and students of this new school – and soon after that within the arms of boyfriend Axton Agerico, a Zangoose who, much like her, had been both shiny and blue. Making new friends and a true love, Mina had enjoyed her first few months. However, things soon began to turn – the school faced several issues with staff and academics, and on top of that the very same friends she had made were now leaving because of the former issues.

Talking it over with Axton and receiving a multitude of reasons to transfer to a new school, Mina then went to her relatives, talking it out amongst them. While they had no problems, the girl herself found it difficult to get her discharge papers, and all seemed lost – until her Aunt had went to the school and managed to pull a few strings in order to get things settled and resolved. Saying goodbye to the last of her friends that still remained, she walked out of the school, and from there to the airport, clutching onto the two things she had in hand, the first being her plane ticket. The other object had been an envelope containing an acceptance letter, a small decal of a flower and ribbon printed on, along with two words; Concorde Academy.

(Level 13) Quick Attack – The user lunges at the target at a speed that makes it almost invisible. It is sure to strike first.

(Level 17) Swift – Star-shaped rays are shot at the opposing team. This attack never misses.

(Level 20) Draining Kiss – The user steals the target's energy with a kiss. The user's HP is restored by over half of the damage taken by the target.

(Level 25) Skill Swap – The user employs its psychic power to exchange Abilities with the target.

(Level 29) Misty Terrain – The user covers the ground under everyone's feet with mist for five turns. This protects Pokémon on the ground from status conditions.

(Level 33) Light Screen – A wondrous wall of light is put up to suppress damage from special attacks for five turns.

(Level 37) Moonblast – Borrowing the power of the moon, the user attacks the target. This may also lower the target's Sp. Atk stat.

» Moveset:

(TM) Psyshock – The user materialises an odd psychic wave to attack the target. This attack does physical damage.

(Tutor) Heal Bell – The user makes a soothing bell chime to heal the status problems of all the party Pokémon.

(TM) Return – A full-power attack that grows more powerful the more the user likes its Trainer.*

(TM) Shadow Ball – The user hurls a shadowy blob at the target. It may also lower the target's Sp. Def stat.


* Mina's return is based off of her affections towards Axton, friends, and relatives, not trainers (since trainers don't exist in this world).

★ Can actually speak French very well, as her parents were originally from Kalos.
☆ White fur is tinted slightly blue, though this is for aesthetic/my own purposes so I could differentiate between shirt and fur. There is no special reasoning/story/gene/mutation/etc. that caused it.
★ Loves music, and has learnt how to sing, play Piano, and Violin.
☆ Spends what free time she has with Axton; if not with Axton then spends it reading up on Astronomy or teaching herself flute.

★ Has learnt how to use the aura from the Psychic move Psyshock in ways similar to Luna thanks to her, and has become adept at lifting/moving things, including herself. While she cannot read minds like other Psychic types can, she has become more perceptive to thoughts and emotions.

☆ Her ears twitch occasionally, another habit picked up from Luna. They twitch in a double pattern/sequence, meaning they twitch twice in a row, then a pause, then another double twitch. This normally happens when she's curious/questioning something/thinking/picking up on a noise
★ When embarrassed/thinking about something, she'll also have a habit to scratch the back of her head with a feeler instead of scratching the back of her head with a hand.
☆ On that note, she uses her feelers for almost everything; they're like a second set of hands. She'll tend to latch/cling on with them rather than with her own arms and hands. In addition, they emit a soothing aura when someone is upset.

☆ Mina's eyes are a mix of many different colours, specifically Purple, Pink, Reddish pink, Reddish Orange, Orange, and yellow. Her mother's eyes were bluish purple, and her father's eyes were similar in colour to a female Meowstic's. Mina inherited the bluish purple as an eevee, but gained the meowstic yellow and red upon evolving.
★ The transfer papers from Mina's old school were filed incorrectly; because of the school's mistake/incompetence, Mina had to enroll as a senior again. She doesn't mind though - now she gets to be with Axton even more~
